Reasnor Fiber is the newest venture of the Reasnor family of telecommunications companies. Our sister company, Reasnor Tel, has been operating fiber and telephone networks in rural Iowa for more than two decades. Reasnor Fiber brings that same operational discipline to Dutchess County, New York.
Our award
Reasnor Fiber is one of nine carriers named as awardees under the New York State ConnectALL Deployment Program, the state channel for federal Broadband Equity, Access, and Deployment (BEAD) funds. Being named an awardee is a milestone, not a finish line. Contract negotiations with ConnectALL are ongoing, and construction begins once final terms are agreed.
Reasnor will only proceed under terms that let us build a network we can operate well for the long term. If those terms end up requiring changes to the planned footprint, we will update this site to reflect what actually gets built.
What we're building
A fiber-to-the-home network delivering symmetric service, the same speed uploading as downloading, designed to serve residents, businesses, and community anchor institutions across Dutchess County. Where we are today
Reasnor Fiber is in the pre-construction and pre-sales phase. Early Enrollment is open for residential and business customers so we can plan deployment around real demand. If you'd like to know whether service will reach you first, check your address.
